Semifinalists and the finalists will be notified by email and may be asked to submit further information including a current transcript of grades and an appraisal from an unrelated adult who is closely involved with their achievements and knowledgeable about their accomplishments.

All finalists and recipients are selected by Abbreviation Finder. All decisions are final and are not subject to appeal. The program is competitive; not all applicants will be selected as semifinalists or finalists; not all finalists will be selected as recipients.

2016 Abbreviation Finder Scholarship Winner

“I am a graduate student majoring in Business Administration at the University of California Irvine. During my short professional career, I realized that I was more suited for the business side as compared to the technical side. Now, through my work-experience I have understood the technical side of the business in depth and I would like to complement my technical knowledge with business knowledge so that I can succeed in a product management role in a technology firm like Google.”
