Kristiansand
Kristiansand is not a big city on an international scale, but for us Norwegians it can be big enough. With its approximately 85,000 inhabitants, Kristiansand places itself as the 5th largest city in Norway. With it comes everything you need from shops and shopping, restaurants and nightlife as well as various cultural attractions.
We do not know many destinations that fit “all” target groups in the same way as Kristiansand. Child families have the Zoo and Captain Sabeltann (and Egner), the youth has the Quart festival and other festivals on Odderøya. Yes, there are even festivals for a slightly older clientele too. The romantic can relax on the city beach and enjoy seafood and spend the night in good hotels, and the cultural have got their old paradise with the new Kilden cultural center.
We at Reiseplaneten make a short process and recommend everyone a long weekend to Kristiansand. If you are lucky with the weather you will have a very enjoyable holiday!
