Vir
Do you love Croatia then you love Vir, or vice versa for that matter. Vir is, after all, everything we think about when it comes to sun, summer and holiday enjoyment. Fortunately, there were no plans to build a nuclear power plant on the island. Instead we have a holiday pearl to visit, however it is somewhat overcrowded in the summer.
Croatia has lots of islands and one of these is just Vir. The location is in the Adriatic Sea, and when it comes to the sky direction north and south of Croatia, Vir is reasonably located in the middle of the country, not far north of the famous holiday town Zadar on the mainland.

The only real village on the island of Vir has the same name, ie Vir, and has a population of only about 1600 people. This figure increases significantly in the summer when travelers flock here. Many people in Croatia and not least Hungary have holiday homes here on Vir. If you visit Vir outside the summer it is quiet and quiet on the island.
