Sandefjord
Sandefjord is located along the coast in southeastern Norway, about 12 km south of Oslo. Sandefjord’s downtown area is small, compact and cozy, with a mix of old and modern buildings. The main street is the Railway Alley, which leads from the train station down to the harbor and Hvaltorget. Here also stands the famous Whaling Monument, which has become a symbol of the city.
Bjerggata is an idyllic street with well-preserved white wooden houses from the early 1800s. Here is also the long church Olav Chapel from 1962.

The Whaling
