EJBZ stands for "Economic Justice for Black Zimbabweans." It's a socio-political movement and advocacy campaign aimed at addressing systemic inequalities, promoting economic empowerment, and advocating for the rights and interests of Black Zimbabweans within the country's economic landscape. Historically, Zimbabwe has grappled with issues of racial discrimination and economic marginalization, stemming from the legacy of colonialism and apartheid-like policies that favored white minority rule. EJBZ seeks to challenge these inequalities by advocating for policies and initiatives that promote greater economic inclusion, ownership, and opportunity for Black Zimbabweans, particularly in sectors such as agriculture, finance, and business. The movement emphasizes the need for land reform, equitable access to resources, fair labor practices, and investment in education and skills development to empower Black communities and redress historical injustices. Through grassroots mobilization, community organizing, and engagement with policymakers, EJBZ aims to foster a more just and equitable society where all Zimbabweans can thrive economically and participate fully in the country's social and economic development.
