Location
The new airport, which went into operation in 1995, is located approx. 38 kilometers northeast of downtown Denver and therefore closer to the neighboring city of Aurora. The access to the terminal area is located directly on the E-470 ring road, which can be reached either via Interstate # I-76 or Interstate I-70.

The five different bus routes of the “Skyride”, as well as the “Limited” and the “Express” of the public transport company RTD run regularly between the airport and various stops in the greater Denver-Aurora-Broomfield-Boulder area.
