Outagamie County Regional Airport (ATW) is located in Appleton, Wisconsin and serves the Fox Valley area. It is owned and operated by Outagamie County, and has been an important part of the local aviation community since it was established in 1933. The airport was originally built as a military airfield to be used for training purposes by the United States Army Air Corps during World War II, but after the war ended it was decommissioned and returned to civilian control.
