Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) is located in Redmond, Oregon, and has been a part of the city since 1940. The airport was originally built as a training facility for the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war, the airport was used by local businesses and private pilots. In 1947 it became a public airport and in 1958 the city of Redmond purchased the land from the US government to turn it into a public airport.
